How Liebherr warranty repairs work
For in-warranty Liebherr repairs, please contact Liebherr first to register your claim. Liebherr will email us a work order, and we’ll book a time with you that suits — usually a 1-hour arrival window within a few business days. There’s no cost to you for covered warranty repairs. User faults, accidental damage, water damage, power surges, and pest damage are not covered under any manufacturer warranty.
For out-of-warranty Liebherr repairs, you can book directly with us — no work-order required. We diagnose the fault and quote a fixed price before any work starts.
Common faults we diagnose and fix
Temperature drift or instability
NTC sensor drift is the most common cause — a wine cabinet that reads 14°C may actually be running 16-18°C. Sensor replacement is straightforward; calibration after replacement is critical.
Door seal degradation
Wine cabinets stored in warm rooms (Brisbane summer cellars at 30°C+) push the seal harder than a kitchen fridge. Genuine Liebherr seals come with correct magnetic strength.
Evaporator fan failure
Wine cabinets need uniform circulation — fan failure causes hot spots. Replacement fan motors come with bearings rated for the lower-temp environment.
Compressor relay or starting failure
Liebherr uses long-life compressors but the start relay can wear. Diagnosis by elimination — we test the relay before condemning the compressor.
Defrost heater fault on multi-zone NoFrost models
GrandCru and similar multi-zone models have NoFrost defrost cycles. Failure shows as frost buildup or temperature swings.
