Caravan & Camping Fridge Repairs — Underwood Workshop

Workshop Repairs Only

Important: We do not repair fridges while they are installed in caravans, camper trailers or motorhomes. We also do not offer mobile or onsite service for caravan and camping fridges.

Caravan and camping fridges must be removed from the vehicle and brought to our workshop at Unit 2/68 Parramatta Road, Underwood QLD 4119.

We do not inspect, repair or replace LPG components or gas systems. This includes gas burners, jets, valves, thermocouples, flues, gas lines and gas ignition systems. Please use an appropriately licensed gas specialist for LPG-related faults.

What We Can Assess

At our Underwood workshop, we can assess suitable caravan and camping fridges for non-LPG faults, including:

Not cooling on 240V
Not cooling on 12V
Electrical power or control faults
Cooling performance problems unrelated to the LPG system
Portable compressor-fridge faults

The fridge must be removed from the caravan, camper trailer or motorhome before it is brought to us. We cannot remove or reinstall the fridge.

If the fault involves the LPG system—or the fridge cannot be safely separated from it—please arrange service through an appropriately licensed gas specialist.

How Workshop Repairs Work

Call Us First — Tell us the brand, model and fault symptoms so we can confirm whether we can assess it.
Remove the Fridge — The unit must be fully removed from the caravan, camper trailer or motorhome before arrival.
Bring It to Underwood — Deliver the fridge to Unit 2/68 Parramatta Road, Underwood QLD 4119 during our workshop hours. A $190 including GST workshop inspection fee is payable when the fridge is dropped off.
Assessment and Quote — We will assess the applicable non-LPG fault and provide a quote before carrying out chargeable repair work.
Collect the Fridge — Once the approved work is complete, we will contact you to arrange collection.

Please do not bring an installed fridge, caravan, camper trailer or motorhome to the workshop for repair.

We are not an authorised service agent for caravan-fridge brands.

We do not repair Engel fridges. Please contact an Engel service centre directly.

Caravan and camping fridge repairs are workshop-only. We do not repair fridges installed in caravans and we do not work on LPG components.

Workshop Inspection Fee

A $190 including GST workshop inspection fee is payable when the fridge is dropped off. This includes up to one hour for diagnosis and repair. Additional labour, parts, freight, materials, return visits or special work will be quoted separately.
