Common ASKO Problems We Fix Every Week
ASKO Dishwasher F1 Error
The display shows F1 — water inlet fault. The inlet valve has failed, the inlet screen is clogged with sediment, or the float switch is stuck. Common in D5 and DBI series. Water won’t fill or fills very slowly. We test the valve, clean the inlet screen, and replace the valve if faulty. Usually a same-day fix.
ASKO Dishwasher F12 Error
The display shows F12 — overflow or flood detected. The sump is leaking, the door seal has failed, or the float switch has triggered falsely. Water may be visible in the base or the machine won’t start. We inspect the sump for leaks, test the door seal, and replace it if needed. Most repairs completed first visit.
ASKO Washer Drum Bearing Failure
You hear grinding or rattling during the spin cycle. The drum bearing has worn, the tub seal is leaking, or the drum is rubbing on the tub. W2, W4, and W6 series. Water may leak from the front seal. We test the bearing, check the seal, and replace what’s needed. This is a more involved repair, but we can usually schedule it quickly.
ASKO Dryer Not Heating
The drum spins but no heat. The heating element has failed, the thermal fuse is blown, or in heat pump models, the condenser is clogged with lint. T2, T4, and T6 series. We check the thermal fuse first, clean the condenser (heat pump models), and replace the element if faulty. Usually done same-day.
ASKO Dishwasher Not Cleaning Properly
Dishes come out dirty or spotted. The spray arm bearing is worn, water pressure is low, or the detergent dispenser is jammed. D5 and DBI series. We check the spray arm for movement, test water pressure, and replace the spray arm if the bearing is worn. Straightforward repair, usually one visit.
ASKO Washer Door Lock Failure
The door won’t unlock after the cycle, or the machine won’t start because the door interlock isn’t sensing closure. W2 and W4 series. We test the interlock, replace it if faulty, and confirm the door operates smoothly. Same-day fix.
