Common Hisense Oven Problems We Repair
Oven Not Heating
If your Hisense oven is not heating at all, the most likely causes are a blown bake or grill element, a faulty thermostat, or a wiring issue. Our technicians can test the elements and thermostat on site and replace them if needed. See our guide on ovens not heating for more detail on what causes this.
Uneven Cooking or Temperature Inaccuracy
If your Hisense oven is burning food on one side or cooking unevenly, the fan motor may be failing, an element may be partially working, or the thermostat may be out of calibration. We can test all three and replace the faulty component. See our guide on oven temperature inaccuracy.
Oven Fan Not Working
Hisense fan-forced ovens rely on the circulation fan to distribute heat evenly. If the fan motor has burned out or the fan blade is damaged, you will notice uneven cooking, longer cook times, and the oven may overheat because heat is not being circulated away from the elements. We carry replacement fan motors for common Hisense models.
Oven Door Issues
Hinges that have snapped or loosened, door seals that have perished, or cracked glass panels. A poorly sealing oven door lets heat escape, wastes energy, and causes inconsistent cooking. We can replace hinges, seals, and glass panels.
Error Codes and Display Faults
Hisense ovens with digital displays can show error codes related to temperature sensors, door locks, or control board faults. If your display is showing an error code or is unresponsive, we can diagnose and repair the underlying issue.
Grill Element Not Working
If the grill function has stopped but the bake function still works (or vice versa), you likely have a blown element. Oven elements are replaceable components — once we identify the correct part for your Hisense model, the repair is straightforward.
Hisense Oven Models We Service
We service the full range of Hisense electric built-in ovens and freestanding cookers, including their 60cm and 90cm models. This includes the Hisense BI6221CX, BI6222AX, and other current and discontinued models. We do not repair gas ovens.
Parts for Hisense Ovens
We carry common oven parts on our vans — elements, thermostats, fan motors, and door seals. For Hisense-specific parts that are less common, we can source them through our parts network and typically have them within a few business days.

Our standard callout fee is $219, which includes the first 30 minutes of labour. Additional time is charged at $45 per 15-minute block. Parts are quoted separately and fitted on the spot where possible. We offer a $20 discount for seniors, pensioners, and students. All prices are estimates only.
