Westinghouse Oven Element Burnout
The fan-forced element has snapped or cracked visibly. This is the most common Westinghouse oven fault — happens in WHE and WVE series after years of cycling. You’ll see the element literally broken inside the oven cavity. We replace it with a genuine element and test the oven temperature. Usually a same-day fix.
Westinghouse Fridge Not Cooling
The thermostat has drifted, the condenser fan motor has seized, or the evaporator fan has stopped. Common in WBE, WTB, and WSE series. The fridge runs but won’t reach temperature, or the freezer works but the fridge section stays warm. We test the thermostat, check fan motors, and replace what’s needed. Most repairs take one visit.
Westinghouse & Kelvinator Washer Won’t Drain
Drain pump has failed or the filter is blocked with lint and fibres. Common in older Westinghouse and Kelvinator top loaders. Water sits in the tub after the wash cycle. We clean the filter, test the pump, and replace it if faulty. Usually fixed same-day.
Westinghouse Cooktop Element Dead
The infinite switch has failed, the element coil has burned out, or corrosion at the socket has broken the connection. Happens in WHC and PHC series. One or more elements won’t heat. We test each element, replace the switch or element, and confirm all positions work.
Westinghouse Dryer Not Heating
The thermal fuse has blown, the heating element has failed, or lint has built up inside the venting. LD series. The drum spins but no heat. We check the thermal fuse first — if it’s blown, something caused it, usually lint blockage. We clean the venting, replace the fuse and element if needed.
Westinghouse Dishwasher Not Cleaning
The spray arm is blocked, the inlet valve has failed, or water pressure is too low. WSF series. Dishes come out dirty despite a full cycle. We check the spray arm, clean it, test the inlet valve, and replace it if faulty. Usually one visit.
