Fridge & Freezer Faults
- Fridge not cooling properly — often caused by a failed evaporator fan, blocked condenser coils, or a faulty ActiveSmart control board

Washing Machine Faults
- Machine not spinning — the most common SmartDrive fault, typically caused by a worn motor controller, failed stator, or rotor position sensor issue (often shows as Error 37)
- Excessive vibration or walking — worn suspension rods or an unbalanced drum
- Not draining — blocked pump filter, failed drain pump, or kinked hose
- Lid lock problems — faulty lid switch or control board issue
- Water not filling — failed inlet valve or blocked filters on the hose connections
DishDrawer Faults
- Not draining — blocked filters, failed drain pump, or kinked drain hose
- Flood switch activation — water detected in the base, often from a leaking hose or door seal (can trigger an F1 error)
- Dishes not cleaning properly — blocked spray arms, worn wash pump, or water temperature issues
- Drawer won’t open or close — rail mechanism wear, motor fault, or obstruction
- Error codes on display — including F30 errors related to motor and wash faults
Dryer Faults
- Not heating — failed heating element, blown thermal fuse, or faulty thermostat
- Noisy tumbling — worn drum bearings, damaged belt, or loose idler pulley
- Takes too long to dry — blocked lint filter, restricted exhaust vent, or failing element
- Drum not turning — broken drive belt or seized motor

- Induction cooktop showing error codes — often related to incompatible cookware detection or overheating protection
- Cracked ceramic glass — requires full glass replacement

- F1 Error (Flood Protection) — Water detected in the base of the appliance. Usually triggered by a leaking hose, failed door seal, or stuck inlet valve.
- F2 Error (Sensor Fault) — A temperature or pressure sensor has failed or is giving an out-of-range reading. Common in fridges, ovens, and dryers.
- Washing Machine Error 37 — A motor or rotor position sensor fault on SmartDrive washing machines. One of the most common SmartDrive faults we see.
- Dishwasher F30 Error — A motor or wash fault on DishDrawer dishwashers. The wash motor isn’t running correctly.

Fridges: F2 error
Sensor fault. Usually the cabinet thermistor — a common F&P fridge fault we see weekly.
Washing machines: agitator issues, drum drive faults
F&P top loaders use a direct-drive design. Stators, hall sensors, and drum bearings are the main wear items.
DishDrawer dishwashers: drawer faults
The DishDrawer design is unique to F&P. We carry the most common DishDrawer parts — pumps, motors, lid seals.
Dryers and ovens
Standard diagnostics. F&P ovens use New Zealand-engineered electronics that are mostly straightforward.

You book online or call. We confirm a 1-hour arrival window. Your technician diagnoses on site, gives you a fixed price before any work starts, and most jobs complete on the first visit. Genuine F&P parts where available.
Service area
Underwood-based, serving Brisbane (CBD, inner north, inner west, southside, eastside, northside, bayside), Logan, Ipswich and the Western Suburbs, the Northern Gold Coast, and the Caboolture–Bribie corridor. Same-day service usually available for bookings made before midday.

Pricing
$219 includes a callout and up to 30 minutes labour onsite — most faults are diagnosed and many repaired in that time. Parts are quoted separately if needed.
Return visits are $29 plus parts and labour. We’ll provide a fixed price quote before any work is carried out.
All repairs come with a 12-month warranty on parts and labour. We also offer a $20 discount for seniors, pensioners, and students.
