Common Westinghouse faults we see

Ovens: heating element burned out

The most common Westinghouse oven repair. Top or bottom element fails — usually visible as a darkened or broken section. Replacement is a one-visit job and we carry common element sizes.

Ovens: not heating to set temperature

Thermostat or NTC sensor. Westinghouse ovens use a fairly standard sensor design that’s straightforward to test and replace.

Cooktops: ceramic element failures

Each radiant zone has its own element. Single-zone failure = replacement of that element. The diagnosis is quick once we’ve removed the cooktop top.

Fridges: not cooling, compressor noisy

Standard fridge diagnostic. Westinghouse fridges share components with Electrolux and use Compressor designs common across the brand family.

Dishwashers: door interlock, drain pump

Same pattern as other dishwashers. Westinghouse dishwashers tend to have less complex control boards than premium brands — quicker diagnostics.

Washing machines: drain pump blockage, door interlock

Top loader Westinghouse washers have a fairly simple mechanical design. Pumps and lid switches are the most common faults.

You book online or call. We confirm a 1-hour arrival window. Your technician diagnoses on site, gives you a fixed price before any work starts, and most jobs complete on the first visit using parts from the van.

If a Westinghouse appliance isn’t worth repairing — common on older models — we tell you straight rather than push the repair through.
