Authorised Warranty Service
LIEBHERR
Brisbane summers are unforgiving on fridges. The compressor cycles harder, condenser coils clog with dust, and door seals lose their grip when the kitchen runs at 30+ degrees. We service refrigeration every day — ARCtick-licensed for refrigerant work, with stocked vans dispatched daily from our Underwood workshop.
Fridge problems we fix every week
Fridge not cooling
A warm fridge with a running motor is most often a defrost fault — ice builds up behind the freezer panel and blocks the airflow to the fridge section — or a failed evaporator fan. Genuine refrigerant problems are rarer than people assume. Keep the doors closed to hold the cold in, and see our fridge not cooling guide for what to check before the technician arrives.
Freezer not freezing
Soft ice cream and slushy ice are early warnings worth acting on — a freezer drifting up in temperature usually has a defrost, fan or seal problem that gets worse by the day. Check that the vents inside are not blocked by overpacking, then run through our freezer not freezing guide. Booking promptly often saves the contents.
Fridge leaking water
Water pooling under the crisper drawers or running out onto the kitchen floor is usually a blocked defrost drain — a small channel at the back that clogs with food debris and freezes over. Ice-maker hoses and water filters are the other suspects on plumbed fridges. Our fridge leaking water guide pins down the source before you call.
Running constantly or making new noises
A fridge that never seems to stop running, or has started clicking, buzzing or rattling, is working too hard — dirty condenser coils, a failing fan motor or a worn door seal are the usual culprits, and all of them push your power bill up. Our fridge running constantly and fridge making noise guides explain which sounds matter and which are normal.
Ice maker or water dispenser dead
On French-door and side-by-side fridges, the ice maker is the part that gives up first — frozen fill lines, failed ice-maker modules and jammed augers are weekly jobs for us, especially on Samsung and LG models. If the water side has stopped too, a clogged filter or inlet valve is likely. See fridge ice maker not working and fridge water dispenser not working.
Door seal gone, or food freezing in the fridge
A door seal you can pull a banknote through is letting warm, humid Brisbane air in — which means condensation, ice build-up and food that spoils early. At the other extreme, lettuce freezing in the crisper points to a thermostat or damper fault. Our fridge door not sealing and fridge freezing food guides cover both ends of the problem.
How we work
You book online or call. We confirm a 1-hour arrival window. Your technician diagnoses the fault on site, gives you a fixed price before any work starts, and most jobs complete on the first visit using parts from the van.
For appliances under manufacturer warranty for brands we’re authorised by (Miele, Bosch, ASKO, Liebherr, Neff), we lodge the warranty claim direct with the manufacturer where applicable — no upfront cost for in-warranty repairs.
If an appliance isn’t worth repairing, we tell you straight rather than push the repair through.
Worth repairing or worth replacing?
A fridge under 8 years old with a non-compressor fault is almost always worth repairing — thermistors, fans, defrost components, and seals are inexpensive parts. A fridge over 12 years old where the compressor has failed is usually a different conversation. Read our take on the 10-year fridge question.
Brands we repair
We repair all major fridge and freezer brands — French door, side-by-side, bottom mount, top mount, bar fridges and upright freezers. We also service caravan and camping fridges, including Waeco and Dometic units. Prefer the term refrigerator? Our refrigerator repairs Brisbane page covers that side of the search.

Frequently asked questions
How much does fridge repair cost in Brisbane?
$219 includes a callout and up to 30 minutes labour onsite — most faults are diagnosed and many repaired in that time. Parts are quoted before any further work proceeds. All prices are estimates only. $20 senior discount available. 12-month warranty on all parts supplied and installed.
Can I book after hours?
Yes. Our office team answers 7am–4:30pm Monday to Friday. After hours, Ava — our phone booking assistant — answers (07) 3062 2377 and confirms real appointment bookings on the spot — handy when the fridge dies at 9pm and you want the first available slot.
Can you come today? My food is spoiling.
We offer same-day service when available — and fridge faults get priority because food is at stake, so call early in the day for the best chance. Until we arrive: keep the doors shut, group frozen food together, and move milk and meat to an esky with ice bricks.
Should I repair or replace my fridge?
Age and fault type decide it. Fan motors, thermostats, seals and defrost parts are economical on almost any fridge; a failed compressor on an older budget model usually is not. Our guide to whether a 10-year-old fridge is worth repairing walks through the maths, and your technician gives you a straight answer at diagnosis.
Does my fridge need a regas?
Probably not — a true refrigerant leak is one of the less common causes of a warm fridge. Defrost faults, fans and door seals top the list. We diagnose the actual fault before recommending anything; if it genuinely is a refrigerant issue, our fridge regas cost page explains how that work is priced.
Do you repair caravan and camping fridges?
Yes — Waeco and Dometic caravan and camping fridges are a regular part of our workload, handled through the Underwood workshop and on the road. See caravan fridge repairs for details.
